Hidden in the waterways of Shanghai’s Qingpu District is a peaceful natural area often described by outdoor enthusiasts as the “Little Amazon of Qingpu.”

Located upstream from Dianshan Lake and beside Yuandang Lake, the area is surrounded by interconnected rivers, leafy banks and quiet Jiangnan villages. Participants can paddle through narrow waterways, pass local houses and small riverside docks, and experience a greener and quieter side of Shanghai.

上海青浦的水乡深处，藏着一片被许多户外爱好者称为“青浦小亚马逊”的原生态水域。

这里位于淀山湖上游、元荡湖畔，河道纵横，树木与水岸交错，周围保留着安静自然的江南村落景观。划着桨板或皮划艇穿过狭长水道、村庄与散落在河网之间的小码头，沿途水面平静、绿意浓郁，既有江南水乡的秀气，也带着未经修饰的自然野趣。

The activity offers two options: a single-person paddleboard, and a tandem kayak for two people.

Before entering the water, professional instructors will provide approximately 20 minutes of introductory training. No previous SUP or kayaking experience is required.

The water session lasts approximately three hours. After paddling, participants can shower, change clothes and relax beside the river as the sun sets. On clear evenings and when natural conditions are suitable, there may also be an opportunity to see fireflies nearby.

Fireflies are wild insects, and sightings depend on factors such as temperature, humidity, weather and the surrounding environment. Sightings therefore cannot be guaranteed.

本次活动提供两种水上体验方式：单人桨板 SUP与双人皮划艇。活动前将安排约20分钟的基础教学，即使没有相关经验，也可以在专业教练的指导下完成体验。

水上活动预计持续约3小时。傍晚结束划行、淋浴并更换衣物后，我们将在水边等待日落。天气晴朗、环境条件合适时，还有机会看到夏夜的萤火虫。

萤火虫属于自然生物，其出现时间和数量会受到天气、温度、湿度及周边环境影响，因此无法保证每次活动都能看到。

Itinerary

13:30 Meet at Zhongshan Park Metro Station and depart by group transport. ｜中山公园地铁站集合，统一乘车出发。

15:00 Arrive at the water-sports. Prepare equipment and change for the activity. ｜抵达青浦金泽镇水上活动基地，办理准备事项并更换装备。

15:10–15:30 Approximately 20 minutes of introductory instruction, covering:

• SUP and kayak equipment
• Basic paddling and steering techniques
• Water-safety procedures
• Route information and activity rules

教练进行约20分钟的下水教学，包括：

• 桨板及皮划艇器材使用
• 基础划行与转向方法
• 水上安全规则
• 活动路线及注意事项

15:30–18:30 Three hours of SUP or tandem kayaking. |正式下水，进行约3小时的桨板或双人皮划艇体验。

18:30 Return to shore and change clothes. |上岸，更换衣物。

19:00 Relax at the base, take photos and watch the sunset. When weather and environmental conditions are suitable, participants may look for fireflies nearby. |水上活动结束，在基地自由休息、拍照或欣赏日落。自然条件适合时，可在周边寻找萤火虫。

20:00 Meet and depart for Shanghai. |集合返程。

21:30左右 Arrive at Zhongshan Park Metro Station. End of the activity. |抵达中山公园地铁站，活动结束。

Self-driving participants should arrive at the base early enough to change clothes and prepare their equipment. The exact location and meeting instructions will be shared after registration.

Participants booking a tandem kayak are encouraged to register with a partner. Solo participants should contact the organiser in advance to confirm whether a paddling partner can be arranged.

Quick-drying sportswear is recommended. Flip-flops, loose sandals and heavy clothing that absorbs a large amount of water are not suitable for the water activity.

建议穿着速干衣裤参加活动。请勿穿拖鞋、容易脱落的凉鞋或吸水后过于沉重的衣物下水。

Weather Policy

This is an outdoor water activity and may be affected by weather and water conditions.

The activity will normally proceed in light rain or brief showers. In the event of thunderstorms, heavy rain, strong winds, extreme heat or other unsafe conditions, the organiser reserves the right to adjust the schedule, route or activity format, or to postpone or cancel the event.

All decisions will be based on participant safety. Updates will be shared in the event group before departure.

户外水上活动受天气及水域条件影响。

小雨或短时阵雨情况下，活动通常正常进行。若遇雷暴、强降雨、大风、极端高温或其他不适合开展水上项目的情况，组织方有权根据安全评估调整活动时间、路线、流程，或安排延期及取消。

所有调整均以参与者安全为首要原则，具体通知将在活动开始前通过活动群发布。
