This is an English-friendly international film salon, where cinema becomes a space for storytelling, emotional resonance, and shared reflection — not just watching, but feeling and discussing together.

Rui is a film and literature enthusiast from Chongqing and the guest host of this Film Salon session. He enjoys literature, poetry, and books of all kinds, with a special interest in Latin American literature and poetry.

Rui 是来自重庆的电影与文学爱好者，也是本期 Film Salon 的放映员。 他热爱文学、诗歌和各类书籍，尤其关注拉丁美洲文学与诗歌。

He is also passionate about cinema, particularly independent films, art films, and historical documentaries. For this session, Rui will introduce the film *Frida* and share his perspective on art, pain, identity, and self-expression.

他同样热爱电影，偏好独立电影、文艺片和历史纪录片。 在本次活动中，Rui 将为大家介绍电影《Frida》，并分享他对艺术、痛苦、身份与自我表达的理解。

🗣 What Will Happen at the Salon?｜活动流程介绍

The Film Salon will begin with a short introduction by the host, followed by the full screening of *Frida*. After the screening, we’ll have a sharing session and an open English discussion with guided topics, as well as free conversation in a relaxed bookstore setting.

电影沙龙将从放映员的简要介绍开始，随后进行《Frida》的完整放映。 放映结束后，我们会进入观后分享环节，并围绕引导性话题展开英文讨论，同时也欢迎在轻松的书店环境中自由交流。

There is no pressure to speak perfectly or participate actively. Listening, reflecting, and simply being present are also part of the experience.
